Import meta data and captions
I'd like to import meta data when uploading images to Adobe Portfolio

I've just watched Sam Joehl of Level Access demonstrate a live screen reader experience on major image websites. Part of the IPTC Photo Metadata Conference 2021.
I really feel it is important that Adobe Portfolio sites are updated to allow adding alt text to content and also maintain EXIF, IPTC and metadata when graphics and photographs are uploaded to a user's Portfolio site.

It would be great if the Adobe Portfolio image upload didn't strip out the IPTC data.
I`m new with Portfolio and using it with LR Classic. I was surprised when I noticed tha viewer can`t view photo IPTC and EXIF data in big image view or anywhere. This is normal most of galleries that I`ve tested.
I can see all metadata synced photo in CC app of course too but not in Portfolio.
Absolutely this is important. One reason why Lightroom Classic is so great is photo metadata. We use time to put IPTC and EXIF data in order and now Portfolio ignores that work.
Hope we have a configurable (like hiding location/map...) IPTC and EXIF data section in future in Portfolio.

Totally agree and it would be great if the caption that shows on the site could be linked to a specific IPTC field so that we can import images knowing that the caption will automatically show.
Including EXIF and IPTC data is essential for SEO and I'm rather perplexed why Adobe with its dedication to professionals doesn't include the very thing that identifies their work and may include rights information. This should be a priority.
Had an extra look at Behance, there is EXIF, Alt-Text & Taggs, but strangely not IPTC supoorted.
I really like Adobe Portfolio. The awareness about the metadata not following from other Adobe applications into Portfolio, is a disappointment. So strange that it's stripped away when it's imported into Portfolio.
One, at least I, would expect that the options for metadata would follow from one application to another, especially when applications are by the same brand.
Is there anyway around this?
If not, I believe it will make several image makers chose not to use Portfolio as their tool. At least what I've come to understand by the discussions that are in the online photography groups I'm part of.
I do hope this issue can be put up on your – to do list.
Especially now with 'Image License in Google Images' https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/image-license-metadata
Yes a search feature using the Keywords etc from the IPTC info.
To have the option to import IPTC and EXIF metadata when you upload images to a gallery. You could then have the option to search the gallery (or maybe even whole website) by that metadata
Ability to Search and use the IPTC info in Images for search results. I add the info like Keywords and the name of the file in Bridge into the IPTC data in an image and as it stands now with no search function this info is useless. Thanks.
